China City Guide
China has many large and famous tourism cities. Here is a list of the nine most important to China travelers.

* Guangzhou City 广州 – one of the most prosperous and liberal China
* Guilin City 桂林 – a popular destination for Chinese and foreign tourists, sensational mountain river landscape
* Hangzhou City 杭州 – famous beautiful city, major center for silk industry
* Kunming City 昆明 – capital of Yunnan, gateway to the villages of ethnic minorities
* Nanjing City 南京 – a city renowned historical and cultural cooperation with many historical relics
* Shanghai City 上海 – famous for its natural coastline, the largest city in China is a large shopping center with many shops
* Suzhou City 苏州 – “Venice of the East”, the old town, famous for its canals and gardens
* Xi’an City 西安 – terminus of the Silk Road, Captital China during the Western Han and Tang, and home to the Terracotta Warriors
You can travel many of these cities with the Chinese new fast trains. In particular, Beijing – Xian – Hangzhou – Shanghai – Suzhou – Nanjing travel line is a convenient way to see some Chinese historical sites.
