In the morning, our English-speaking tour guide will pick you up at your hotel at 8:30 am or 9:00 up to your personal preference. Take about 1.5 hours to drive to the Juyongguan Great Wall (which is the best preserved part of the Great Wall with many original features) in a private vehicle.Enjoy the countryside view on the way, meanwhile, our guide will give you a dramatic introduction of the Great Wall and bring you some interesting stories as well.Hike on the Juyongguan Great Wall for about 1.5 hours.(there are no cable car at Juyongguan Pass) The climbing of the Juyongguan Great Wall is very challenging. The Chairman Mao said “ you are not a real hero until you climb on the Great Wall. ”
Have lunch at the Friendship Restaurant and enjoy a short rest.
Drive to the Ming Tomb. Visit Changling (whose construction was started in 1409 and completed in 1427, the most famous part of Ming Tomb) for one hour. You will be transferred back to downtown Beijing. It is up to you to enjoy the beautiful scenery again on the way or relax yourself by taking a nap in your private vehicle. |
