Day 1 : Arrive in Beijing Our well-trained English-speaking tour guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer to the hotel.(Beijing)
Day 2 : Tianan men Square . Forbidden City . Temple of Heaven . Summer Palace . Hotel pick-up between 8:00am or 8:30am based on your convenient time. Visit the Tianan men Square –the largest city square in the world and the Forbidden City which used to be the living place of the emperors of the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties in the morning. Enjoy delicious Chinese noodle lunch at a local restaurant. After having lunch, go on visit the Temple of Heaven where the emperors worshipped for the harvest and the Summer Palace-the greatest imperial garden in China. . Transfer back to your hotel.(B&L)
Day 3 : Great Wall (Badaling) . Ming Tomb Hotel pick-up between 8:00am or 8:30am based on your convenient time. Drive to the Great Wall (Badaling) which is located 50 miles away from the city (1.5 hours drive), hiking there for 1 hour also. Enjoy your lunch at Friendship restaurant. Move on to the Ming Tomb where 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) were buried in the afternoon. Transfer back to the city by 18:00. Transfer back to your hotel. (B&L)
Day 4: Beijing Zoo (Panda House) - Hu Tong (also known as Rickshaw tour) – Lama Temple
Visit Beijing Zoo to see Great Panda.
Proceed to Beijing Hutong -ancient city alley in Beijing. Many of them were built during the Yuan (1206-1341), Ming (1368-1628) and Qing (1644-1908) dynasties surrounding the Forbidden City. Take rickshaw to visit the ancient Beijing Hutong including Local family, Drum tower, Shicha Lake (also called Houhai Lake) and bar street.
After lunch in a local restaurant, drive 30 minutes to Lama Temple -a renowned lama temple of the Yellow Hat Sect of Lamaism, is the only downtown Buddhism temple in Beijing. Lama Temple is a former imperial palace in Qing dynasty.
Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour at around. (B+L)
Day :5
Beijing Planning Exhibition Hall, Wangfujing Walking Street, Olympic Village
Pick you up from hotel at 08:30 am.
Visit Beijing Planning Exhibition Hall -this huge hall will show you not only the 3000 years history of Beijing and each different district, but also the future planning of this city including some models of Olympic Games.
Visit Wángfǔjǐng street that is one of the Chinese capital's most famous shopping streets. Much of the road is off-limits to cars and other motor vehicles, and it is not rare to see the entire street full of people, turned into one of China's most attractive and modern boulevards. Since the middle of Ming Dynasty there have been commercial activities. In the Qing Dynasty, eight aristocratic estates and princess residence were built here, soon after when a well full of sweet water was discovered, thereby giving the street its name "Wang Fu" Jing" (Water well). In 1903, Dong'an market was formed.
Drive to the future location of Olympic Village to have glance of the building project. Tour guide will do some introduction of the blueprint.
Afternoon is free for you to explore the city on your own or do some final shopping. (Lunch)
Day 6: Depart Beijing
Check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport/railway station to catch the flight/train to next destination. (B) |
